We will be providing a FULL bar all weekend and it'll be free.
The bar will be open from:
4pm Friday
4pm Saturday (there is a small toast at 12pm ish)
ALL day Sunday (where we basically need to finish it all!)
If you cannot last without a drink before 4pm, you are welcome to bring a personal drink. If you do bring anything, make it a very good gin or whisky for us to try ;) !
Anyone (you know who you are!) wanting to bring a specific keg/beer, give us a call and we will co-ordinate with our bar.
Sure thing! Mainly for those travelling far/ from Europe or perhaps you want to spend more time settling into the land.
Things wont be fully set up so if you arrive early expect to be roped into helping mwhahahah.
Early Early arrivals from Thursday 12pm.
Early weekend arrivals from Friday 12pm.
Opening ceremony starts 7pm Friday night
All departures by Monday 6pm (if you are BYO camping/van then you can stay on site longer - just arrange with Charles)
Please note, not all Bell Tents will be ready by friday 12pm, so please check with us in advance so we can prioritse you!
The celebrations begin Friday night with bar (free) opening at 7pm - we are putting on live music and having an opening ceremony of sorts!
With the wedding ceremony first thing (after brekkie) on Saturday morning, we hope you arrive and join us from Friday night.
Please call to co-ordinate if only saturday attendance is possible.
YES! All are very welcome to stay Sunday evening (and if you are staying off-site, do come over!)
There will be sun shining, music jams, games, open mic, watching the stars, and finishing the bar!
Please make sure you select the Friday - Monday option when booking your accommodation.
Monday is chilling out, swimming and just being relaxed in sunshine / departures
Occupied tents are taken down from 12/1pm ish.
Friday casual - come as you are - we will be dancing to some blues, eating and chilling by fires.
Bring layers as always - in July it'll be HOT, but it could cool down to mid teens in the evening, so bring a warm coat for after sunsest.
Saturday - Dress to impress... if that is frocks, hats, tuxedo or chaps or even if it's fairy wings and glitter - just bring yourself to the party. (We won't be super formal)
The main event is undercover in the marquee and we have other structuers structures to keep us all dry whilst we boogie, feast and celebrate.
If the heavens do open, we guess it'll be a bit muddy, so those staying on site, bring some wellies in case.
Just as hard the rain can be, so can the sun. 2022 was HOT, so slap on your factor 50, and we have plenty of shaded areas for groups to relax in.
(This shouln't stop you from donning your best shady hat or bringing parasol!)
No! If you are in an emergency please come to see Lucy or Glenn - you will meet them on site.
There are pockets of signal around but don't reply on it. Hopefully we'll all be having too much fun to need them :)
Swimwear and towels (local beach is 15 mins and there is a river/hot tub and sauna on site)
Towels
Flashlight/camping light
There will be designated recycling, food recycling and rubbish points on site - please we urge everyone to use them as they say.
We want to leave as small a mark on the land as possible and prodcue minimal refuse.
By the main tent and wedding party area, there will be standard toilet block and hot shower block. We will also have a second toilet block nearer the extended campsite area.
These will have running water to wash hands or brush teeth if you're on site.
Hardcore outdoors folk:
Swim/wash in the river in the early morning before 7:30am - please being fish-friendly soap!
As a sustainable campsite there is an eco-friendly toilet block with compost toilets.
We have been to site many times, and they are well kept and clean :)
Solar shower bags are available for free to charge and hang on provided hooks.
Unfortunately it would be nearly impossible to get to the campsite by public transport. Taxis are listed on the nearby accommodation page. If you are struggling to get to site, please let us know as there will be lots of car sharing and help to get you here and back!
We have a field which can hold over 200 cars which is then a 30 sec walk to site
We love doggos/pets, but for this weekend, ideally not.
We'd like to guarantee a clean site for all so unless you have the best dog in the world, who is a sociable and potty trained, we'll have to ask pooches to be left at home. Guide dogs of course welcome. (If it's a dealbreaker and your dog fits in a handbag and don't bark at a breeze, then OK!)
